Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical design and development of enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Own solution architecture for modules and domains, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Drive modernization initiatives including monolith-to-microservices migration and cloud adoption.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Review architecture, code, and designs for quality and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide engineers and build technical capability within teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, DevOps, QA, and product teams on integration and delivery.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for complex issues and production challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of hands-on Java-based software development experience; the posting also specifies a 10–15-year experience profile.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead in enterprise systems and product-development environments.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, distributed-system design, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of Angular or React.
- Experience with performance tuning, JVM optimization, system reliability, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, Docker, cloud platforms, and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring, observability tools, domain-driven design, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with product development, modernization programs, and Agile/Scrum or Lean Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, writing, teamwork, flexibility, and continuous-improvement abilities.
