Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical design and development of enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Own solution architecture for modules and domains, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Drive modernization initiatives including monolith-to-microservices migration and cloud adoption.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Review architecture, code, and designs for quality and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide engineers and build technical capability within teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure integration and delivery.
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues and production challenges.
- Support performance tuning, JVM optimization, system reliability, observability, and enterprise integration.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development on global or enterprise projects; the posting also cites 10–15 years of experience.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead in enterprise systems and product development environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of Angular or React.
- Experience with Docker, Azure or other cloud platforms, container orchestration, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming, scalable architectures, performance tuning, JVM optimization, domain-driven design, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with product development and modernization programs and understanding of product development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, master's degree in Computer Science, MCA, or equivalent.
- Strong communication, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, attention to detail, learning, and collaboration skills.
