Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Java and Kafka backend services for event-driven business workflows.
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using React, AngularJS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize SQL queries, indexing, schemas, and data models for transactional and analytical workloads.
- Architect and deploy secure, scalable, reliable, and observable cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Define APIs and integrate frontend and backend components into cohesive full-stack solutions.
- Guide Kafka topic design, consumer groups, stream processing, and error handling.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and quality validation.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Java services, SQL queries, and JavaScript components.
- Document system designs, technical patterns, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, engineering, and operations teams on releases and implementation plans.
- Support production systems, analyze incident trends, resolve root causes, and improve system stability and security.
- Contribute to coding standards, development practices, and technology maturity improvements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing Java backend applications, including object-oriented design, concurrency handling, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong proficiency in React.js and JavaScript for dynamic single-page applications, reusable components, state management, and secure client-side interactions.
- Deep knowledge of Kafka configuration, partitioning, consumer groups, and stream processing for large-scale event-driven architectures.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, indexing, query tuning, schema design, and transactional integrity.
- Practical expertise with AWS compute, storage, networking, and managed database services, as well as secure cloud deployment concepts.
- Knowledge of version control, automated testing, continuous integration, and code review practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and requirements interpretation skills.
