Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Java backend services using Kafka for event-driven processing.
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces with Angular and JavaScript.
- Optimize SQL queries and data models for transactional and analytical workloads.
- Architect and deploy secure, scalable, observable, and cost-effective solutions on AWS.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Review code and perform unit and integration testing against quality, performance, and regulatory standards.
- Implement Kafka messaging patterns, including topic design, consumer groups, stream processing, and error handling.
- Integrate frontend and backend components through clear APIs and consistent data flows.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Java services, SQL queries, and JavaScript components.
- Document system designs, technical patterns, and deployment procedures.
- Coordinate releases and defect resolution with cross-functional engineering and operations teams.
- Analyze production incidents, resolve root causes, and implement stability and security improvements.
- Contribute to improved development practices, coding standards, and engineering tools.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing Java backend applications, including object-oriented design, concurrency handling, and enterprise integration.
- Strong proficiency with Angular JS and JavaScript for dynamic single-page applications, reusable components, state management, and secure client-side interactions.
- Deep knowledge of Kafka configuration, partitioning, consumer group management, and stream processing in large-scale event-driven architectures.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, indexing, query tuning, and schema design.
- Practical expertise with AWS compute, storage, networking, managed databases, and secure cloud deployment concepts.
- Understanding of version control, automated testing, continuous integration, and code review practices.
- Strong analytical and communication skills for interpreting requirements, proposing technical solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders.
