Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain control plane services supporting Data Ocean platform management and orchestration.
- Design management APIs and service interfaces for caching, data movement, configuration management, and platform lifecycle workflows.
- Build monitoring, telemetry, operational, and integration capabilities across platform components and external storage services.
- Troubleshoot distributed software issues, perform root-cause analysis, and participate in technical and code reviews.
- Develop automated frameworks for functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
- Perform feature validation and verification across distributed storage environments and improve automation coverage.
- Contribute to test strategy, release readiness, CI/CD improvements, and development and validation process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience developing software applications, infrastructure software, or distributed systems.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Go, or Java and experience with Linux-based software development.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and building automation frameworks and software validation tools.
- Understanding of storage systems, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes, container environments, Python automation and testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, enterprise storage, distributed data platforms, performance testing, and large-scale software testing.
