Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle for recommendation and personalisation systems.
- Design, build, and productionise models for style-aware recommendations.
- Develop approaches that combine conversational preference extraction with traditional behavioural signals.
- Build and optimise feature pipelines and serving infrastructure for recommendations at scale.
- Define and champion best practices for evaluating recommendation quality.
- Collaborate with product, AI engineering, and design teams to enhance recommendation experiences.
- Explore and integrate signals from social media and visual style to improve recommendations.
- Act as a senior technical reference point for recommendation engineering.
Requirements
- Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in ML engineering or applied machine learning roles.
- Strong hands-on skills in Python and relevant ML/deep learning frameworks.
- Proven track record building recommendation systems with various techniques.
- Experience with LLMs and understanding of their application in recommendation pipelines.
- Comfort working with fashion, style, or visual domains is a strong plus.
- Practical experience deploying and iterating on ML systems in production.
