Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development of consumer-facing applications, primarily using React and Typescript.
- Build reliable and performant systems for Zocdoc’s provider calendar and inbox.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure a polished user experience.
- Champion engineering excellence through code quality and operational ownership.
- Mentor peers and promote best practices in software development.
- Work with cutting-edge GenAI tools and technology.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in front-end/full-stack development.
- Strong passion for technology and critical thinking about software performance.
- Experience in solving high-impact, system-level problems.
- Empathy for users and a commitment to great UX.
- Proficiency in object-oriented or functional programming languages.
- Experience designing and building scalable user-facing web applications.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and promoting best practices.
- Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
