Responsibilities
- Build and optimize software for agentic AI compute workloads on Arm Neoverse and cloud-server platforms.
- Analyze end-to-end application and system performance across applications, runtimes, libraries, compilers, and hardware.
- Debug complex issues, identify performance opportunities, and optimize CPU performance in heterogeneous CPU and accelerator systems.
- Work across the software stack, including frameworks, libraries, assembly, low-level optimization, and high-level operators.
- Collaborate with Arm teams, open-source contributors, partners, and multiple technical contributors.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering and programming skills, preferably in C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments, profiling, debugging, and performance analysis.
- Interest in end-to-end application and system performance and the ability to learn unfamiliar software stacks and codebases.
- A degree in a computational or numerate subject or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience includes ML frameworks, LLM inference, agentic AI frameworks, CPU optimization, databases, vector search, containers, cloud infrastructure, distributed AI workloads, parallel programming, open-source projects, and AArch64/Arm server optimization.
- Preferred knowledge includes batching, scheduling, KV-cache management, collective communications, CPU bottlenecks in agentic workloads, and SIMD technologies such as Neon, SVE, and SME.
- Strong communication skills, independent decision-making, pragmatic judgment, and experience delivering technical work involving multiple contributors.
