Base Salary
$120k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain production software and develop functional and destructive test suites.
- Contribute reusable foundational code, architectural diagrams, and product-related documentation.
- Assist with product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure user stories are developer-ready, understandable, and testable.
- Field product and engineering questions, lead technical discussions, and mentor junior engineers.
- Identify team gaps and suggest changes that improve team productivity.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience is required; 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field is typically required.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Preferred experience includes Elasticsearch, MongoDB Atlas, Apache Solr, Java Spring Boot, GCP, relational-database SQL queries, and fixing security vulnerabilities.
- No leadership experience or certifications are required.
