Base Salary
$149k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Co-own the organization-wide architecture review process and evaluate project intake for complexity, new capabilities, vendor involvement, and cross-team impact.
- Connect project teams with appropriate reviewers and provide architectural guidance, recommendations, approvals, and consultation.
- Design and guide scalable, secure, standards-aligned solutions, including AI-driven solutions that improve business capabilities and customer experiences.
- Align technology capabilities with business objectives, identify standardization and reuse opportunities, and support strategic roadmapping.
- Map applications to business processes and maximize platform value through cross-brand feature sharing.
- Develop architectural governance frameworks, educational materials, EA charter contributions, and communication plans.
- Build relationships between product owners and engineers across brands and secure stakeholder buy-in for architecture initiatives.
- Collaborate with security teams on secure architecture and secure software development practices.
- Apply federated GraphQL platform expertise to support brand-specific needs and enable global and regional technology co-creation.
- Mentor less experienced team members and provide technical leadership, feedback, and actionable guidance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of solution architecture experience.
- Experience crafting solutions that support secure software development in domains subject to CCPA, GDPR, PCI, and global tax regulations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-influence skills across executive, engineering, and enterprise audiences.
- Experience connecting teams and driving consistency across federated organizational structures.
- Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives and function as a strategic architecture and technical leader.
- Working knowledge of AWS, infrastructure as code, SQL, GraphQL, Git, and DataDog.
- Preferred experience with Go, Node.js, TypeScript, Rust, and Terraform.
- Preferred experience designing and implementing AI-driven solutions and integrating AI capabilities into existing platforms.
- Preferred experience across federated GraphQL, POS, kitchen systems, IoT, edge computing, martech, and real-time data analytics.
- Preferred experience guiding secure coding, vulnerability assessments, firewalls, WAFs, CDNs, and DAMs.
- Familiarity with restaurant technology ecosystems or willingness to learn the QSR sector.
- Strong analytical thinking, proactive execution, independent judgment, collaboration, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of $148,900 to $186,500 with bonus eligibility; final pay considers location, experience, and other job-related factors.
