Base Salary
$132k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and architect software solutions for public sector portals.
- Maintain and decompose an existing monolithic application using Java and Oracle.
- Develop and support portal enhancements using Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and CosmosDB.
- Collaborate with product, QA, Scrum, and cross-functional teams to deliver business-impacting projects.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentoring to less experienced software engineers.
- Develop and support automated deployments in a microservices architecture.
- Improve release processes and facilitate adoption of continuous deployment and continuous integration.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot production issues.
- Design and architect projects and features as assigned.
- Support deployments outside normal work hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Participate in relevant agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise development experience using Java or JavaScript and hands-on experience with multiple frameworks.
- 4+ years of experience with application integrations such as web services, microservices, and file or data transfers.
- 3–5 years of experience architecting, designing, and developing web-based applications.
- US citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
- 3–5 years of experience with agile development methodology.
- 3–5 years of experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
