Base Salary
$175k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new backend features and improve the operational experience of developed systems using production feedback.
- Refactor Grafana’s architecture to support scalable, multi-tenant SaaS and Cloud applications while avoiding service disruptions.
- Author, contribute to, and review design documents.
- Help shape the roadmap and align plans with other squads and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and support team members while collaborating across the organization.
- Participate in weekday 12-hour-by-5-day and weekend 24-hour-by-2-day on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Strong coding skills and operational experience running software built by you.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and distributed-systems problems including scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, cross-team collaboration, pragmatism, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Golang.
- Candidates must be located in the US or Canada.
