Responsibilities
- Build new backend features and improve the operational experience of developed systems using production insights.
- Author, contribute to, and review technical design documents.
- Help shape the team roadmap and safely roll out architecture changes without service disruptions.
- Mentor and support team members while collaborating with teams and external stakeholders.
- Own customer experience through weekday and weekend on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Strong coding and operational experience, including responsibility for operating software built.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and distributed-systems concerns such as scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Pragmatic approach to prioritization, ambiguity, and progress over perfection.
- Familiarity with Golang or willingness to learn it.
