Responsibilities
- Design and develop multi-step agentic AI workflows using LLMs, tools, and data.
- Build REST API integrations connecting AI solutions with internal payroll and enterprise systems.
- Translate payroll business problems into scalable AI and API architectures and deliver production-ready solutions.
- Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Implement reliability, accuracy, scalability, error handling, logging, debugging, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Mentor and upskill payroll professionals transitioning into AI engineering through guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
- B.Tech or BE qualification, preferably in computer science or a related field.
- Strong hands-on Python development, API, REST API, authentication, OAuth, token, and system integration experience.
- Experience building real-world LLM-based solutions using platforms such as OpenAI or Azure OpenAI, including prompt structuring and tool or function usage.
- Strong system design, problem-solving, analytical, collaborative, and adaptable working skills.
- Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel is preferred.
- Cloud platform experience, preferably Azure, and knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation are preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases and basic frontend or UI development is preferred.
- Payroll experience and MS Office familiarity are preferred.
- Ability and willingness to mentor others and work with ownership in ambiguous environments.
