Base Salary
Up to $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build internal and customer-facing services for processing customer orders
- Establish key design patterns and guidelines for backend workloads
- Create user experiences and improve warehouse, logistics, and data insight systems
- Solve complex engineering problems end to end in a high-velocity startup environment
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience and at least 2 years of Python experience
- Familiarity with infrastructure and CI/CD practices
- Experience with a Python web framework, preferably PyTest for testing, AWS as a cloud provider, Kubernetes for containerized workloads, and Postgres with SQL
- Understanding of common API and backend testing patterns
- Strong focus on communication and documentation
- Experience in a fully remote environment, test suite or pattern creation and automation, queue or event-driven systems, and sprint-based environments with an OKR framework is preferred
- Experience managing an engineering team of three or more people is preferred
