Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and support OpenText ECM, ExStream, xPression, and Content Server solutions.
- Develop WebReports, LiveReports, workflows, Smart UI customizations, CSUI SDK widgets, Forms, Form Templates, ActiveView, Perspective components, and facets.
- Integrate Content Server with external applications using REST APIs and configure OpenText Directory Services integrations.
- Administer Content Server upgrades, patching, configuration, maintenance, Object Import/Export, indexes, partitions, and Distributed Agent functionality.
- Perform large-scale data and document migrations and develop and optimize SQL queries against the Content Server database schema.
- Work in Linux environments and manage Apache, Tomcat, and AWS-based OpenText solution environments.
- Monitor system health, performance, logs, and platform availability while troubleshooting incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
- Support testing, deployments, defect resolution, performance tuning, documentation, post-go-live enhancements, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5.5+ years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenText ExStream, OpenText xPression, and OpenText Content Server configuration, customization, development, and administration.
- Experience with Linux, WebReports, LiveReports, complex workflows, Smart UI, CSUI SDK widgets, upgrades, patching, maintenance, migrations, forms, facets, and Content Server components.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Object Import/Export, Categories, Volumes, Category Definitions, database schemas, indexes, partitions, Distributed Agent configuration, and OpenText Directory Services.
- Strong SQL query development and optimization skills, plus JavaScript and jQuery experience.
- Familiarity with Apache, Tomcat, and AWS services including EC2, Lambda, and RDS.
- Experience with application monitoring, deployment, testing, defect resolution, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
