Base Salary
$176k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance services using Java, Spring Framework, and gRPC.
- Lead complex technical projects from conception through production.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features.
- Write well-tested code and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Own production issues through resolution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Strong experience with gRPC and protocol buffers.
- Deep familiarity with microservice architecture and AWS.
- Experience building consumer products at scale.
- Hands-on experience integrating or building with AI technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, distributed team.
- Event-driven architecture experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Payment processing or financial systems experience is preferred.
- GraphQL implementation experience is preferred.
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI is preferred.
