Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HL7 integration architecture, implementation, validation, documentation, and go-live activities for Synapse medical imaging products.
- Integrate Synapse products with third-party healthcare information systems including EMR, PACS, CVIS, RIS, HIS, VNA, LIS, anatomic pathology, and dictation systems.
- Perform data migrations, interface integrations, data conversions, testing, validation, and development of reusable integration patterns and templates.
- Design secure communications using TLS, VPNs, certificates, and encryption.
- Create customer-specific solution designs, best-practice documentation, specifications, test plans, and validation procedures.
- Act as the lead technical resource with minimal supervision and deliver high customer satisfaction.
- Participate in pre-sales customer discussions, cross-functional projects, SME activities, peer reviews, and process improvements.
- Mentor, train, and transfer knowledge to peers and other associates.
- Comply with FDA medical device, ISO 13485, quality, regulatory, and company requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a computer-related field, or an associate degree with significant related-industry experience.
- Minimum of 6–8 years of HL7 integration experience in a hospital-related environment.
- Experience independently implementing HL7 integrations with third-party vendors for at least one Fujifilm Synapse product line.
- Strong knowledge of HL7 v2 message types including ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, and MDM; DICOM; FHIR; and IHE profiles.
- Experience with relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Lua, JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages for data transformation; programming knowledge is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with interface engines such as Iguana, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, CorePoint, or Ensemble.
- Experience with healthcare, hospital, radiology, cardiology, electronic medical records, PACS, clinical information systems, laboratory, pathology, VNA, and related workflows.
- Knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems, Microsoft Clustering, Microsoft Message Queuing, Microsoft Internet Information Server, TCP/IP networking, VMware, and remote access.
- Strong project leadership, project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, negotiation, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, operate in a matrix environment, multitask, lead technical projects, and transfer knowledge.
- HL7, CompTIA Security+, or Windows network certification is a plus.
