Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, document, and support application systems on the Kondor+-based trading platform.
- Analyze business, technical, and system requirements with IT and business partners and deliver compliant technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain programs using SQL, Java, and Unix scripting.
- Participate in technical walkthroughs, unit test planning, testing, verification, and post-implementation reviews.
- Create test transactions, identify and fix application defects, and troubleshoot incidents and project issues to determine root causes.
- Prepare technical specifications, documentation, training materials, and implementation support materials.
- Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies to support delivery within budget and schedule.
- Collaborate across functions, facilitate discussions, and influence key decision makers.
Requirements
- Approximately five years of software development experience, preferably in banking technology.
- Knowledge of foreign-exchange business, trading workflows, risk management, back-office operations, and front- and back-office trading applications.
- Strong SQL, Linux, and Java skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and work across IT and business functions.
- Understanding of IT standards, methodologies, software development life cycle processes, and ITIL processes.
- Experience with the Kondor suite, including K+, K+TP, and KGR, is preferred.
- Exposure to DevOps automation tools such as Helios, UrbanCodeDeploy, and GitHub is preferred.
- Strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to facilitate and influence decision makers.
- An AI-oriented mindset is listed as a desired qualification.
