Responsibilities
- Develop software using Agile methodologies and the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle.
- Design and deliver features end-to-end with limited supervision.
- Solve complex technical problems and contribute to design discussions.
- Write rigorous code reviews and provide technical guidance to less-experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with Product and other engineering teams to deliver against the roadmap.
- Maintain the quality, reliability, and compliance posture of the systems owned.
Requirements
- BS or equivalent plus 5 years of experience, MS or equivalent plus 3 years, or Ph.D. or equivalent plus 2 years.
- Solid production experience with Ruby on Rails and comfortable with GraphQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency with modern component frameworks and strict TypeScript; Vue 3 experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and working knowledge of Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.
- Understanding of event-driven patterns and asynchronous processing.
- Comfortable using modern AI coding tools to enhance development processes.
