Responsibilities
- Design and deliver performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production use.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents across enterprise customer use cases.
- Work directly with enterprise and startup customers to understand challenges and develop solutions.
- Prototype tools and features and help shape Sierra’s core AI agent platform.
- Collaborate with research, product, and platform teams on agent architectures, self-service capabilities, and generative agent development.
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and the ability to overcome obstacles and ship.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Preferred experience as a founder or founding engineer.
- Preferred familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Preferred experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
