Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility studies and define and design system requirements for complex data-processing projects.
  • Design, code, test, debug, install, and maintain computer programs.
  • Prepare and review project-phase requirements, feasibility, definition, and design reports.
  • Consult with systems and business-unit partners about techniques, practices, technologies, and project impacts.
  • Evaluate technologies and processes, recommend improvements, and support strategic technology planning.
  • Advise on project development, production health, new processes, and implementation of new techniques.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor Analyst-level employees.

Requirements

  • College or university degree in Computer Science and/or some relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and business applications.
  • Knowledge of programming, debugging, and testing systems programs.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for systems guidance.
