Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture, development, integration, release, and operation of modular e-commerce add-ons.
- Implement complex backend logic with PHP and Laravel, including middleware, queues, events, gates, and policies.
- Design database schemas, indexing strategies, and caching solutions for high-traffic environments using MySQL/RDS and Redis.
- Lead frontend integration in a SingleSpa micro-frontend setup using Vue.js 3 and related technologies.
- Manage Docker-based environments, release processes, monitoring, alerting, incident management, and stable production rollouts.
- Serve as Technical Lead and final reviewer by mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing architecture and code-quality standards.
- Promote and evaluate AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows, including best practices, guardrails, and production quality standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing, scaling, and operating complex full-stack web applications in production environments.
- Expert knowledge of PHP 8.x and Laravel, including middleware, queues, events, gates, and policies.
- Strong frontend development experience; expertise in Vue.js 3, TypeScript, and modern state management such as Pinia is a major plus.
- Strong architecture expertise in secure, multi-tenant, distributed systems and sustainable maintainability.
- Advanced database and performance-engineering knowledge, including MySQL/RDS, schema design, indexing, and Redis caching.
- Experience with Docker-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, Semantic Versioning, AWS infrastructure, and production monitoring and alerting.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, code-review, complex problem-solving, and ability to connect technical decisions to business value.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, with the ability to evaluate their appropriate use.
