Responsibilities
- Build ingestion, query, storage-path, enrichment, monitoring, alerting, correlation, SLO, topology, cluster-health, remediation, workflow, and job-scheduling components.
- Write production code, unit tests, integration tests, contract tests, and instrumentation for metrics, logs, and traces.
- Build dashboards, write operational runbooks, and participate in chaos, soak, and on-call activities.
- Develop collection plugins for Kubernetes, Slurm, Ray, Volcano, Kueue, and KubeRay.
- Ship components through the GitOps and CI/CD release pipeline while meeting declared SLOs and maintaining drift-free deployments.
- Progress from shadowing on-call to independently delivering components within an assigned area.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of software engineering experience; new graduates with strong projects or internships are welcome.
- Solid programming fundamentals in Go, Python, Java, or Rust, with the ability to write clean, tested, readable code.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, TCP/HTTP networking, operating-system concepts, and distributed-systems fundamentals.
- Hands-on exposure to monitoring or observability, including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar tools, and basic PromQL queries.
- Familiarity with Linux, shell usage, system logs, debugging tools, Kubernetes basics, Git, pull requests, and CI pipelines.
- Habit of writing unit and integration tests, along with clear written and verbal English communication.
- Curiosity about GPU and AI infrastructure, AIOps, distributed systems, and production-scale observability.
- Preferred qualifications include monitoring or observability internships or projects, GPU/AI infrastructure exposure, AIOps or anomaly-detection experience, and contributions to open-source observability or cloud-native projects.
