Responsibilities
- Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives in an assigned territory.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use-case prioritization and building technical champions.
- Architect, design, and drive adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform for significant data analytics initiatives.
- Influence stakeholders and C-level executives through complex engagements involving cloud ecosystems and third-party applications.
- Lead complex proofs of concept and provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs.
- Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Contribute as a trusted technical advisor and champion for customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
- Experience with complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales across the sales lifecycle.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives while orchestrating teams toward long-term customer success.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, plus willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
- Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
