Responsibilities
- Research, design, test, implement, deploy, and maintain online and backend trading and data-service infrastructure applications.
- Develop high-performing and reliable applications using C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with business and technical leadership to understand requirements and with development teams to design and implement systems and programs.
- Shepherd releases from creation through release, maintenance, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor team members and participate in rotation-based on-call support approximately once per month.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field; a graduate degree may also be held.
- Strong application development experience using C++.
- Experience developing applications with Python.
- Experience with data structures and algorithms, multithreading, and concurrency.
- Basic understanding of databases and knowledge of software engineering best practices and design patterns.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, deployment automation, microservices, and REST architecture.
- Ability to write well-documented, clean code.
- Teamwork, individual contribution, continuous learning, and flexibility with changing priorities.
