Responsibilities
- Own and lead full-cycle technical evaluations from discovery through proof of value and executive readout.
- Partner with security and engineering stakeholders to define success criteria for vulnerability detection quality, false-positive reduction, and remediation speed.
- Demonstrate depthfirst against legacy SAST and SCA tools through contextual code understanding, reachability and exploitability analysis, and repeatable results.
- Work hands-on in customer CI/CD environments, including GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins, to support seamless deployment.
- Translate technical validation into executive-ready ROI narratives for CISOs, CTOs, and VPs of Engineering.
- Represent customer feedback to Product and Engineering and help shape roadmap priorities.
- Build and scale the solutions engineering function through playbooks, demo environments, and repeatable evaluation frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Security Engineer, or similar.
- Strong understanding of modern software development workflows and CI/CD systems.
- Exposure to application security, vulnerability management, static analysis, or secure SDLC practices.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to engineers and executive stakeholders.
- High ownership mentality and comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment.
- Genuine excitement about AI and security.
- Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco is preferred.
