Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted architectural advisor to Defense and National Security customers.
- Lead solution discovery, requirements definition, user-story creation, system design, and future-state process design.
- Drive architectural strategy and program vision across presales, scoping, and delivery of Salesforce engagements.
- Manage risks, customer expectations, complex negotiations, and resolution of issues through completion.
- Review and correct program direction, approaches, and artifacts to keep solutions on track, maintainable, and extensible.
- Guide customers and colleagues in applying emerging technologies and Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Lead internal strategic initiatives, contribute to the consulting community, and promote Professional Services methodology and delivery best practices.
- Present complex concepts and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant enterprise architecture or Salesforce Platform consulting experience across the full lifecycle, with demonstrable success.
- Active Secret, TS, or TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- Expertise in Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy, including translating current-state complexity into target-state designs.
- Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories, and producing detailed system and functional designs.
- Experience documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process-flow diagram tools, UML, and sequence diagrams.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Metro DC location is preferred.
- Multiple Salesforce Core Architecture certifications are preferred.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
- Public-sector digital transformation experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions (Agentforce Public Sector) and Omni Studio is preferred.
- Application design and development experience is preferred.
- The candidate must be a U.S. citizen, must not hold dual citizenship, and must agree to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation for a Moderate Public Trust position.
