Responsibilities
- Own testing activities for the dbFlow Automation project.
- Define test strategies and prepare test concepts.
- Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, product owners, developers, deployment managers, and IT application owners.
- Maintain QA-related project documentation.
- Develop and maintain the test automation framework.
- Create test cases, test plans, test scripts, test data sets, and test procedures based on business requirements.
- Report automated test results to development teams so defects can be addressed before production release.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
- Experience with at least one programming language and software development best practices, preferably Java and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Selenium with Java.
- Knowledge and practical experience in behavior-driven development testing.
- Strong experience with API testing and tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
- Experience with load and performance testing using jMeter.
- Strong experience with test planning, test documentation, defect tracking, and reporting tools such as ALM, Jira, or TestRail.
- Knowledge of databases.
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices and tooling, including Jenkins, TeamCity, OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of retail banking and operations processes.
- Understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and/or Agile software development methodologies.
