Base Salary
$141k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate distributed systems for observability.
- Own the reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of telemetry systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and drive root-cause resolutions.
- Develop tooling and automation to reduce operational work.
- Identify bottlenecks and scaling challenges to shape the observability roadmap.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance their observability posture.
- Contribute to design discussions and mentor teammates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and running production systems at scale.
- Proficiency in Golang.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform or similar tools.
- Comfortable working with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Experience with ClickHouse is preferred.
