Base Salary
$150k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Enhance Modal's infrastructure for training machine learning models.
- Optimize ML training processes and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Contribute to open-source projects related to AI and ML.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and researchers on innovative solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience writing high-quality, high-performance code.
- Experience with torch and high-level training frameworks like Huggingface.
- Proven experience in ML training optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with low-level operating system foundations is a plus.
- Willingness to work in-person in NYC or San Francisco.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation for production incidents.
