Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production environments
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents in production and establish ADLC best practices
- Partner directly with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and implement AI agents
- Design solutions for customer interactions such as troubleshooting, recommendations, and subscription churn
- Develop generalizable AI agent frameworks for industry-specific use cases
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments
- Builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production is preferred
- Founder or founding engineer experience is preferred
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering is preferred
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred
- Previous customer-facing experience or experience leading technical projects with external stakeholders is preferred
- Fluency in Dutch is indicated by the job title
