Responsibilities
- Support mobile and automotive chipset customers on design-win projects.
- Help OEMs understand Qualcomm QCT software and solutions and provide product training.
- Guide customer engineers in resolving issues involving QCT solutions.
- Troubleshoot customer-reported problems, identify root causes, and report issues to developer teams.
- Help developer teams narrow down root causes and fix software problems.
- Perform embedded OS boot, stability, driver, and system-level debugging.
Requirements
- Strong experience with assembly, C, and C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of ARM architecture and embedded operating system theory.
- Strong embedded software debugging skills at the driver and system level on real-time operating systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum qualifications include 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, 1+ year with a master’s degree, or a PhD; relevant programming and debugging experience is also specified.
- Familiarity with boot processes, stability debugging, assembly, simulators, and JTAG debuggers is preferred.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, test mobiles, and logging tools is a plus.
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, motivation, quick learning ability, and self-starting behavior.
