Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and convert them into software designs.
- Design, develop, test, modify, and maintain BIOS/BSP diagnostic software.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot software issues, and improve system performance and availability.
- Evaluate software and software-hardware interfaces, including installation and modification requirements.
- Prepare code documentation, flowcharts, layouts, reports, specifications, and project status updates.
- Coordinate with project, functional, systems analysis, and engineering teams on delivery and progress.
- Support customer requirements, queries, feedback, serviceability concerns, and issue tracking.
- Monitor continuous integration, deployment, and software implementation quality against release schedules.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and skill-upgrading certifications.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Mandatory skills in BIOS, BSP, and diagnostics.
- Experience developing, testing, debugging, modifying, and maintaining software programs.
- Ability to analyze requirements, software flows, data usage, and operational feasibility.
- Ability to design and execute software validation and test cases.
- Ability to investigate problems, perform root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot queries.
- Ability to document technical solutions and communicate project status to stakeholders and customers.
