Base Salary
$210k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop fintech software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using computer science principles.
- Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
- Build a scalable data platform and pipelines for data plumbing needs.
- Architect and build workflows that could set industry standards.
- Develop and optimize self-serve ETL frameworks for data processing.
- Ensure ETL workflows meet data quality and availability requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate schema registry.
- Assist stakeholder teams with their data computation needs.
- Oversee data quality, governance, and schema design.
- Mentor and lead junior engineers.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in software engineering or related occupation.
- At least 1 year of experience with AWS/GCP for managing data infrastructure.
- Experience optimizing data computation engines like Spark or Trino.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with shadow testing and benchmark testing frameworks.
- Experience running production-grade CI/CD systems.
- Ability to design fault-tolerant systems for high availability.
