Base Salary
$115k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable microservices architecture using reusable, high-quality, testable code.
- Build reusable frameworks and collaborate with DevOps teams to deliver highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant platforms.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, and QA on platform design and development.
- Handle operational issues with little or no oversight.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards, patterns, and architecture principles.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of object-oriented development experience with deep expertise in JVM-based microservices using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring JDBC.
- At least 2 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- At least 2 years of experience applying clean-code principles, TDD/BDD, continuous refactoring, and unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with Apache Solr or Elasticsearch.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with GCP or AWS cloud technologies, including Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience using Python to develop data pipelines.
- Preferred: familiarity with LLM applications, generative and agentic use cases, ADK, Gemini models, and Arize AI agent monitoring tools.
- Preferred: experience implementing large-scale eCommerce Search and Discovery capabilities and using AI-assisted development tools.
