Responsibilities

  • Refine application requirements with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Design architectures for AI-native, cloud-hosted intelligent RAN applications with attention to performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale distributed applications, RESTful APIs, and service-to-service integrations.
  • Create test plans and perform unit, module, subsystem, system, configuration, performance, stability, and interoperability testing.
  • Integrate applications with O-RAN and satellite network components including DU, CU, RIC, and SMO.
  • Maintain and automate CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications.
  • Support production and laboratory environments, including monitoring, logging, tracing, disaster recovery, and incident resolution.
  • Update and maintain existing production applications and networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 6–10 years of hands-on experience building and operating large-scale cloud-native, microservices-based, event-driven, distributed applications.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, including scalability, fault tolerance, high availability, resiliency, consistency models, eventual consistency, and idempotent processing.
  • Experience designing data-intensive systems with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong experience with event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, event streaming, publish/subscribe patterns, and event sourcing.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and distributed service-to-service communication.
  • Experience building reliable and observable production systems, including monitoring, logging, tracing, disaster recovery, and incident resolution.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Golang or Python.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, public cloud platforms, CI/CD tooling, and deployment automation.
  • Understanding of terrestrial or satellite wireless systems, SMO, and RIC frameworks.
  • Preferred experience with O-RAN specifications and rApps/xApps development.
  • Hands-on experience with Golang, Python, Rust, scripting, and CI/CD in public cloud environments is helpful.
