Base Salary
$219k - $329k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the full technical engagement lifecycle from discovery and architecture through validation, proof-of-concept execution, and technical close.
- Position Cisco architectures against competitive alternatives and resolve technical objections with engineering and executive stakeholders.
- Partner with the Account Executive and extended account team to translate architectural vision into account strategy.
- Design end-to-end Service Provider routing architectures covering IP Core, IP Edge, and Backhaul.
- Guide customers toward Autonomous Network architectures with visibility, predictive analytics, and self-healing capabilities.
- Use 5G Mobility Core expertise in SMF, UPF, and PCF to help modernize mobile infrastructure.
- Build trusted relationships with technical and business decision makers and enable partners to sell and deploy Cisco technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years of experience in systems engineering or network architecture within the Service Provider sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of Cisco’s technology portfolio and strong Service Provider expertise.
- Expertise in the Cisco IMI routing portfolio and BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and Segment Routing.
- Proficiency in IP Network Automation and understanding of Ansible or other API-driven workflows.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and executive-presence skills.
- Active industry-recognized certification such as CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA is preferred.
- Advanced 5G Mobility Core knowledge, Routed Optical Networking and optical system design expertise, and understanding of network programmability, NFV, and containerization are preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and leading technical strategy across complex global organizations is preferred.
