Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the migration of build and release pipelines from Jenkins to Harness.
- Manage Linux systems and build and release tooling.
- Develop scripts using Shell, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Build and ship large-scale engineering products and support cloud infrastructure.
- Support, architect, implement, and maintain big data solutions when needed.
- Work with container technologies and configuration management systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of relevant work experience.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience planning and executing Jenkins-to-Harness migrations.
- Experience with Shell, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Experience managing Linux systems and working with Jenkins or comparable build and release tools.
- Experience building and shipping large-scale engineering products and/or working with cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS.
- Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
- Preferred experience supporting or architecting big data solutions and working with Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Oozie, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kerberos, or Kafka.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, configuration management, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, ELK, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, or Cassandra.
- Preferred experience with Cursor, Windsurf, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
