Responsibilities
- Lead the effort to unify batch and real-time event processing across core platform services.
- Manage a large, mature codebase and develop a strategy for technical debt.
- Translate customer requirements into well-scoped, high-value engineering work.
- Build seamless integrations with existing data platforms and cloud infrastructure.
- Establish norms to raise the team's AI velocity and improve delivery.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in building and evolving complex, high-scale software systems.
- Experience leading platform migrations or major architectural transitions.
- Ability to distinguish between common solutions and unique problems.
- Fluency in AI tooling and capability to raise AI fluency among engineers.
- Track record of fast value delivery and high-quality work.
- Comfortable with large, imperfect codebases and managing technical debt.
- Customer-first thinking that shapes work scoping and sequencing.
- Technical depth in distributed systems, data-intensive architectures, or cloud-native infrastructure.
