Base Salary
$106k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical sales through architecture design sessions, customized demonstrations, and proofs of concept with business and technical decision makers.
- Lead hands-on hackathons, rapid prototyping workshops, and other technical engagements that accelerate adoption and production deployments.
- Build trusted relationships with platform leads and co-design secure, scalable architectures and solutions.
- Resolve technical blockers and objections while collaborating with engineering teams to provide product feedback.
- Maintain expertise across Microsoft Fabric, Azure databases and analytics, Azure Databricks, Purview Data Governance, Microsoft Foundry, and Azure Machine Learning.
- Represent Microsoft through thought leadership in cloud database and analytics communities and customer forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years, or 5+ years of equivalent technical pre-sales or consulting experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 6+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure, architecture design, migrations, industry standards, or technology management, including 4+ years with Azure cloud.
- Expertise in Azure database migration and modernization, Azure analytics, data lakes, data warehousing, reporting, and AI application development.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Foundry for agentic AI solutions and Azure Machine Learning for machine learning solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL syntax, PySpark, Python, and C#.
- Ability to lead architecture design sessions, rapid prototyping, hackathons, proofs of concept, and MVPs that produce production-scale outcomes.
- Strong presentation skills for business and technical decision-maker audiences.
- Relevant technology certifications, such as Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development, cloud platform technologies, information security, or architecture certifications, are preferred.
