Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and support scalable Salesforce solutions and related business systems.
  • Administer Salesforce security models, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, queues, public groups, and data governance.
  • Design and optimize Salesforce automation using Flow Builder, validation rules, approval processes, and other platform capabilities.
  • Lead complex integrations between Salesforce, ERP systems, marketing automation, data warehouses, and third-party SaaS applications.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, debugging, and production support for Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, define solutions, estimate effort, and prioritize enhancements.
  • Lead Salesforce release management, deployments, sandbox management, DevOps processes, and CI/CD practices.
  • Maintain data quality and governance through deduplication, data imports and exports, and audit support.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, administrators, and other team members.
  • Monitor platform performance, storage, security, and system health and recommend improvements.
  • Create technical documentation, solution designs, process flows, support documentation, and training materials.
  • Support process optimization, system integration, mergers and acquisitions, and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II certification is preferred.
  • Additional preferred certifications include Advanced Administrator, App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant, and Integration Architect.
  • Strong experience with .NET, Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow, declarative automation, and platform configuration.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools, or event-driven approaches.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governance, sharing models, and compliance practices.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives and manage multiple priorities in Agile environments.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering concepts, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and system integrations.
  • Preferred experience with NetSuite, ERP integrations, Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Preferred experience supporting global business operations and cross-functional business process optimization.
