Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable, resilient AWS reference architectures aligned with enterprise standards and long-term technology strategy.
- Implement and optimize managed container orchestration and serverless container workloads across multiple environments.
- Configure managed caching, message queuing, and API management solutions for low latency, fault tolerance, secure access, throttling, and observability.
- Apply cloud security, governance, configuration management, web application protection, organization management, and compliance controls.
- Design virtual private networking, routing, connectivity, and hybrid cloud-to-on-premises network topologies.
- Develop command-line automation workflows for provisioning, configuration management, troubleshooting, and operational consistency.
- Advise stakeholders on architecture tradeoffs, resilience, cost optimization, migration strategies, and cloud adoption.
- Define observability metrics, dashboards, and runbooks to improve incident readiness and operational resilience.
Requirements
- 8–11 years of professional experience designing and implementing cloud or distributed-systems solutions.
- Advanced hands-on experience configuring, deploying, updating, and optimizing managed container orchestration services in production.
- Experience with managed caching services, message queuing platforms, and API management solutions.
- Strong proficiency with cloud security and governance services, including web application protection, advisory tools, configuration management, and organization-level policies.
- Knowledge of subnets, routing, connectivity options, traffic security controls, and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
- Practical experience with command-line interfaces, infrastructure scripting, and automation tools.
- Ability to communicate cloud architecture concepts and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders across distributed teams.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, or equivalent cloud architect certification.
