Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day quality engineering support for multiple digital product teams and embed automated quality controls across the software development lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for automation test failures, release-quality issues, and engineering teams requiring quality support.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, API, integration, and platform-based products.
- Partner with product, software engineering, platform engineering, and release management teams to identify quality risks and implement preventative controls.
- Perform root-cause analysis on defects, release incidents, and production quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Establish dashboards and reporting for automation coverage, release readiness, defect leakage, test execution effectiveness, and quality trends.
- Contribute to enterprise standards for automation, test data management, environment strategy, and quality tooling.
- Drive test automation adoption and continuous testing within DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery environments.
- Evaluate AI-enabled testing capabilities and support quality engineering innovations that improve efficiency and delivery outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality engineering, software testing, or test automation.
- Experience leading QA automation initiatives across complex digital products and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, test management practices, and software development lifecycles.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native technologies, and modern engineering environments.
- Knowledge of API, integration, performance, and end-to-end automation testing approaches.
- Ability to analyze quality metrics and drive continuous improvement outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps toolchains, and AI-enabled quality engineering technologies.
- Experience working within agile product delivery organizations.
