Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance native applications for the Android platform.
- Implement application requirements and write and update design documentation.
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve development efficiency.
- Work with software testing teams to ensure product quality.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests.
- Participate in design, code, and test reviews and provide technical leadership.
- Propose and implement enhancements that improve application sustainability.
- Develop SDK-layer functionality and work with Android multithreaded environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least five years of native Android application development experience using Kotlin.
- At least eight years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with documentation, testing, and coding in a diligent, high-quality development environment.
- Experience working in Agile teams and using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SonarQube.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and GitFlow.
- Experience writing automated tests using Espresso and JUnit.
- Working knowledge of MVC, MVVM, and MVP design patterns.
- Experience developing an SDK layer and working with Android operating systems and multithreaded environments.
- Typical qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 8–12 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 5–8 years of equivalent experience.
