Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end architectural vision, API design, and implementation for native iOS applications and iOS SDKs.
- Write modular, well-tested Swift code and create public API interfaces and XCFrameworks for enterprise integration.
- Establish engineering standards through code reviews and best practices for testing, modularity, and security.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, backend engineering, and enterprise developer partners on mobile features and SDK adoption.
- Mentor and coach engineers and lead complex technical initiatives across teams.
- Improve build pipelines, continuous integration, testing automation, and release speed.
- Track Apple platform developments and adopt valuable iOS technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in cloud, SaaS, or enterprise software environments.
- 5+ years building production native iOS applications and public or internal iOS SDKs backed by cloud APIs.
- 3+ years of deep hands-on Swift experience and working knowledge of Objective-C.
- Experience designing SDK APIs, modular architectures, and distributing libraries through tools such as Swift Package Manager and CocoaPods.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading complex cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, experience with XCFramework packaging, semantic versioning and SDK deprecation, modern iOS frameworks, Swift Concurrency, memory management, OAuth, SSO, data encryption at rest, Android development principles, cross-platform SDK design, and open-source or technical community contributions.
