Base Salary
$144k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop low-latency, secure agentic platform components using generative AI and machine learning technologies.
- Build scalable systems that process millions of data points and optimize resource utilization, token consumption, memory management, and cost efficiency.
- Develop conversational AI and natural-language interactions for advertiser bidding guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions across the advertising ecosystem.
- Identify root causes of operational issues and implement permanent fixes while improving tooling, processes, and operations.
- Write maintainable, well-documented code and provide meaningful code reviews.
- Mentor engineers and train new teammates on system architecture and operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Strong technical fluency in generative AI, including LLMs, model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RLHF, RAG, and model trade-offs involving size, latency, cost, and output quality.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.
