Responsibilities
- Build and maintain low-latency applications using modern C++ and Java.
- Develop Spring-based microservices and distributed systems.
- Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka and Solace.
- Design and maintain caching solutions using Redis and Oracle Coherence.
- Develop Python scripts and data-processing solutions using Django, SQLAlchemy, pandas, Kafka, and Redis.
- Build and manage scalable, secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Contribute to risk management, controls, change and transformation, and strategic technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and guide technical direction.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience developing low-latency applications with modern C++.
- Strong Java experience and proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
- Practical experience with distributed messaging platforms, including Kafka and Solace.
- Experience implementing caching solutions with Redis and Oracle Coherence.
- Working experience with Python, Django, SQLAlchemy, pandas, Kafka, and Redis.
- Preferred experience setting up end-to-end GitLab CI/CD pipelines with multi-stage deployments, artifact management, and environment promotion strategies.
- Preferred knowledge of AI/ML technologies, investment banking, risk management, or securitized products.
