Responsibilities
- Drive the technical vision for backend solutions powering the recipient user experience.
- Build and scale recipient management products and services for large-scale distributed systems.
- Design, deploy, and maintain clean RESTful APIs.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases, including schema design and query optimization.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, analysts, and other engineers.
- Write testable code, participate in code reviews, and follow strong coding practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Java knowledge.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimization, and schema design.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- A strong product mindset focused on customer experience and data-driven prioritization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and bring people together to solve problems.
- Commitment to testable code, code reviews, open feedback, and Test Driven Development.
- Experience with Spring Boot is preferred.
- Experience with Backend-for-Frontends is preferred.
