Responsibilities
- Define integration requirements and specifications with business stakeholders and create test plans.
- Build, implement, deploy, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain inbound and outbound Workday integrations with third-party applications.
- Perform complex data mapping, transformations, configuration, development, implementation, and administration of Workday HCM integrations.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert and escalation point for Workday integrations and reporting.
- Develop and maintain integrations involving account provisioning, benefits, EIB, integration security, SSO, Cloud Connect, BIRT, Workday Studio, and web services.
- Conduct unit, regression, and enhancement testing for integrations.
- Research integration issues, debug problems, and lead timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
- Create and maintain a master library of Workday HCM integration documentation.
- Support vendor management and resolution of critical defects.
- Represent the HRIS team in integration implementations and cross-team initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
- At least five years of Workday experience is required.
- Deep expertise building Workday integrations using Workday Studio, REST, and SOAP.
- Proven ability to build complex systems using WSDL, SOAP, and REST web-service standards.
- Expertise with XML standards and technologies including XML Schema, XSLT, STX, DOM, and SAX.
- Strong understanding of XSLT, XPath, and XML.
- Advanced Workday report-writing knowledge, including data sources, primary business objects, and calculated fields.
- Ability to work effectively with non-technical business owners and other stakeholders.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer-service, judgment, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
- Workday Studio certification is preferred.
- Prism and Extend experience is preferred.
- Ability to sit for long periods, occasionally travel locally between service centers, and lift up to 20 pounds.
